The Iowa Foundation for Agricultural Advancement (IFAA) is a non-profit organization comprised of agricultural enthusiasts dedicated to providing scholarships, financial awards and incentives for college-bound (4-H and FFA) youth seeking a post-secondary education in the area of agriculture.
Each year, thousands of Iowa students participate in 4-H and FFA beef, swine, poultry and other agricultural projects. With the help of partners like Iowa 4-H and FFA Organizations along with the many donors, IFAA is able to provide merit-based financial awards to hundreds of those participating students every year looking to continue their study of agriculture within our state.
IFAA’s primary programs are the Sale of Champions at the Iowa State Fair and the Winner’s Circle Scholarship and Awards program. The Sale of Champions program gives sixteen FFA and 4-H exhibitors the privilege to sell their champion livestock and poultry projects at a premium price with support from both IFAA sponsors and the exhibitor’s local community. The Winner’s Circle Scholarship program was established to increase the foundation’s reach beyond just the 16 kids in the Sale of Champions to supporting hundreds every year seeking post-secondary education in an area of agriculture through various scholarships and awards.
